The Menu at Yolos Mexican Grill

Yolos Mexican Grill Menu – Planet Hollywood Las Vegas

Appetizers

Start your meal at Yolos with one of their traditional Mexican appetizers. From Elote Street Corn to Chicken Taquitos, you can’t go wrong. However, I recommend their signature Guacamole Fresco, prepared tableside and served with warm tortilla chips.

Another stand-out selection is the fresh Ceviche with bay scallops and tiger shrimp marinated in lime and mixed with sweet onion, cucumbers, avocado, and cilantro. Other excellent appetizer choices include Chips & Salsa, Nachos Rancheros, and a Quesadilla with the option to add various types of meat.  Expect to pay about $5 to $17 for an appetizer.

Soups and Salads

If you’re in the mood for a lighter meal or appetizer, the soups and salads portion of the menu hits the spot. It features savory Pozole and Tortilla Soup with all the fixings and a collection of salads, including House, Caesar, Grilled Steak Salad, and a Taco Salad with a poblano lime vinaigrette that ties the whole dish together. Soups and salads cost between $10 and $17.

Tortas

Under the tortas portion of the menu, you’ll find delicious sandwiches, perfect for lunch or any other time of the day. Possibly the most popular, the Carne Asada torta consists of steak, Oaxaca cheese, pickled onion, poblano pepper, avocado, and chipotle aioli packed with flavor.

Other sandwich options include the Machaca Beef, Grilled Chicken, and Carnitas Grilled Cheese. All tortas are served on toasted Telera Rolls, come with seasoned fries or a small house salad, and cost $14 or $15.

The House Favorite and Classics

The Pollo Rostizado is the House Favorite at Yolos Mexican Grill and comes strongly recommended. It features half of a roasted chicken served with Spanish rice, chipotle, and mushroom cream sauce; yum!

The Classics section of the menu also features house and fan favorites like Carnitas, Chicken Chimichanga, and Camarones Mexicanos. Expect to pay between $20 and $26 for these dishes.

Specials

Under the Specials section, you’ll find filling cuisine with fresh Mexican flavors and toppings. Choose between the Skillet Rib Eye, Sauteed Salmon, and Chicharrones with roasted garlic mojo, pickled cabbage, radish sprouts, rice, beans, and tortillas.  Each dish puts a unique spin on familiar fare to bring you something unexpected. They cost $30.

Burritos

Yolos makes a mean burrito. Hand-rolled flour tortillas are stuffed with peppers, onions, and your choice of filling. Then, they’re topped with Oaxaca cheese, red chili guajillo or tomatillo sauce and served with refried beans and Spanish rice. For $17 to $20, you can choose between Chicken, Beef Barbacoa, Picadillo Beef, Gulf Shrimp, or Roasted Vegetables.

Enchiladas

Another authentic Mexican offering, the enchiladas at Yolos make an excellent choice. They are made with corn tortillas smothered in fresh sauce, topped with Oaxaca cheese, and served with a side of Spanish rice and refried beans. With Chicken, Machaca Beef, Carnitas, Shrimp, and Vegetable options, they’re sure to accommodate varying tastes. You’ll pay between $17 and $21 for enchiladas.

Fajitas

Served sizzling hot, you’ll most likely hear Yolos fajitas long before they reach your table. Presented on an iron skillet with sauteed peppers, onions, and your choice of protein or Roasted Vegetables, they put off a mouth-watering aroma. They also come with refried beans and Mexican rice, so you can build your meal as you like. The fajita plates cost $23, except for the vegetable option, which is $19.

Specialty Tacos and Street Tacos

No Mexican restaurant is complete without tacos, and Yolos selection is exemplary. Their Specialty Tacos include Pork Belly, Surf & Turf, and Quesabirria with drool-worthy braised beef, all of which make an outstanding choice for your main course.

The street tacos at Yolos may look simple, but their special spices and rich flavors make them anything but plain. Choose between Grilled Chicken, Carne Asada, Baja Fish, Carnitas, Mexican Gulf Shrimp, or Vegetables.

Each plate of tacos costs about $16 to $26.

Sides

While all the meals at Yolos are created to stand alone, they also offer a variety of sides to complement any dish or share at the table. Side dishes include Mexican or Cilantro Rice, Chipotle Potatoes, Peruvian Refried Beans, Epazote Black Beans, and Yolos Seasoned Fries.

Desserts

Yolos dessert menu offers classic Mexican sweet treats that do not disappoint, including Mexican Flan and Fried Ice Cream in a crisp, sweet cinnamon tortilla. They also have a scrumptious Chocolate Lava Cake and a delectable Churro Cheesecake with a crispy crust baked to perfection. You can expect to pay between $8 and $10 for a dessert.
