Cantonese Cuisine Reimagined

Hakkasan’s menu features contemporary Cantonese cuisine made with the freshest ingredients.

Not only are the dishes reimagined for elevated flavor, but they also focus on stunning presentations to enhance the sensory experience overall.

To help you plan your meal, the following sections offer a complete run-down of the menu and Hakkasan’s signature dishes.

Signature Menus

Hakkasan offers two Signature Menus that are pre-selected by the chef. Both the Phoenix and Lotus Menus feature a collection of Hakkasan’s best offerings, allowing you to sit back and enjoy without making decisions.

They come with three appetizers, two sides, two or three entrees, and a dessert. These pre-coursed menus are available for groups of two or more and have the option to add a wine pairing.

Shared Plates

The best way to start a meal at Hakkasan is with a shared plate.

The most popular selections include the Sesame Shrimp Toast with pineapple chili sauce and the Peking Duck Bao, both of which taste amazing and look incredible too.

The Crispy Langoustine with wasabi sauce and tobiko also makes an outstanding selection.

Other appetizers include Salt and Pepper Calamari, Crispy Spiced Prawn, Glazed Duroc Pork Belly Buns, Crispy Bee Pollen Chicken, Truffle Beef Tartar, Wok Seared Scallops, and Sweet Chili Crispy Beef.

Raw Bar

If you love fresh seafood, I recommend adding a Raw Bar selection to your appetizers. A house specialty, the Oysters with caviar and black vinegar mignonette makes an excellent choice.

Or, if you want to sample several items, the Raw Seafood Tower is the way to go. Other raw bar dishes included Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Cocktail, and Alaskan King Crab.

Dim Sum

The Dim Sum portion of the menu is another extension of the appetizers. It features inspired renditions of tasty favorites that are perfect for sharing.

While each dish is worth trying, the Wagyu Beef Taro Puff and the Hakka Basket are considered signature dishes and are highly recommended by the chef.

Other Dim Sum dishes include Shumai, Chicken Pot Sticker, Drunken Wonton, Morel and Pea Shoot Egg Roll, Seafood Har Gau, Singaporean Chili Crab Spring Roll, and Vegan Dim Sum Basket.

Salads and Soups

Hakkasan also offers a couple of unique salads and soups. The 5 Jewel Salad is vegetarian-friendly and has a fresh yuzu vinaigrette.

The Crispy Duck Salad, a house specialty, comes with pomelo, pine nuts, and shallots.

If you prefer a savory soup, both the Vegan Hot and Sour Soup and the Crab and Sweet Corn Soup are impressive.

Large Plates

The Large Plate selections at Hakkasan feature premium ingredients and decadent sauces that make you want to savor every bite.

By far, the most popular main course dish at Hakkasan is the Signature Peking Duck. It is served in two courses, and if you’re feeling decadent, you can add Tsar Nicoulai Reserve Ossetra Caviar.

Another house especially is the Roasted Chilean Sea Bass. Its fresh, premium filet features a thick cut and is prepared with bumble bee honey.

Additional stand-out selections include Jasmine Smoked Prime Short Rib, Black Pepper Beef Filet, and General Tsao Chicken.

Since sharing is ideal at Hakkasan, I recommend choosing a few for the table so you get the full experience.

Other large plate dishes include Wok Fried Chicken with Walnut, Sweet & Sour Iberico Pork, Seafood Assam Curry, Roasted Branzino, Chargrilled Red Snapper, Wagyu Beef Ma Po Tofu, Mongolian Wagyu Flat Iron, and Wok and Fried Chili Lobster.

Noodles and Rice

No Chinese meal is complete without noodles or rice, so make sure to add one of these dishes to your entree selections.

If you like a bit of spiciness, try the Singaporean Vegetable Fried Rice with egg, lemon, mint, and chili sauce.

The Hakka Noodle with shimeji mushroom, egg, and bean sprouts also makes an outstanding choice. Its blend of veggies with a rich sauce and soft, perfectly cooked noodles takes noodle dishes to the next level.

This menu section also includes Hong Kong Fried Rice, Mushroom XO Hand-Cut Noodle, and Wok Fried Shrimp with Udon Noodle.

Accompaniments

For a more balanced meal, add a side of rice or vegetables to the table. These dishes are expertly prepared and complement other plates on the menu perfectly.

Choose between Steamed Fragrant Rice, Baby Bok Choi and Snap Peas, Wok Fried Green Bean, Asian Vegetables, Asparagus, Wok Fried Spring White Asparagus, or Eggplant, Tofu, and Mushroom.

Desserts

Even if you’re full, I strongly recommend finishing your meal with one of Hakkasan’s visually stunning and deliciously unique desserts.

From their signature Chocolate Peanut Dumplings with a vanilla infusion to the Exotic Pavlova, you won’t be disappointed.

Another fan favorite is the beautifully presented Spikey Lemon with yuzu curd, calamansi gel, and almond cake.

Other selections include Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Parfait, Sweet Caviar, and seasonal ice cream and sorbet flavors.

If you can’t decide on just one, the Hakka Platter comes with five miniature portions of their most popular desserts. Or, if you prefer an after-dinner libation, they also offer a collection of dessert wines.

Wine and Cocktails

Hakkasan’s bar is fully stocked with an impressive list of premium spirits, sake, beer, and more than 1,000 wines from around the world.

If you want, a sommelier can help you select the perfect bottle to complement your meal.

The specialty cocktails at Hakkasan are made with fresh ingredients and undeniable skill. For example, many drinks come with HK-stamped ice cubes and dramatic garnishes.

One of the most popular, the Hakka, is constructed with Ketel One vodka, Junmai sake, lychee, coconut, and passionfruit.
