As one of the hospitality capitals of the world, Las Vegas has world-class restaurants galore, but some are noticeably more expensive than others.

Often, the elevated prices signal exceptional service, unrivaled decadence, and exceptionally mind-blowing cuisine.

In addition, many more costly spots are backed by world-renowned celebrity chefs who are known for innovative fare and culinary masterpieces.

So, when you’re ready for one of the best meals of your life, try one of the 14 most expensive restaurants in Las Vegas, and you’ll be glad you did.

Widely accepted as the best chef of all time, Joël Robuchon is known for his phenomenal French cuisine and impeccable standards.

As a result, his self-named restaurant holds a three Michelin star status, the highest in Las Vegas. Unsurprisingly, it is also the most expensive restaurant in the city.

Even so, Joël Robuchon was the best meal I’ve ever had in my entire life, so put it at the top of your list.

The chef’s culinary excellence shines through in every dish on Joël Robuchon’s menu.

Each mouth-watering plate features delicately blended flavors and exquisite presentations that far exceed expectations. To get a sampling of all the most-revered dishes, order the prix fixe menu.

When you’re ready to indulge in decadent cuisine, Restaurant Guy Savoy is the ultimate dining destination.

It is the proud recipient of multiple Michelin Stars, and Guy Savoy is widely known as one of the best chefs in the world, so prepare to have your mind blown.

Restaurant Guy Savoy offers the finest Parisian cuisine and delicate French masterpieces amidst an elegant atmosphere.

While every creation is exceptional, the signature Octopus Terrine and Colors of Caviar are must-try selections.

They also have an outstanding wine menu and my personal experience was the exclusive Chef’s Table serving a 10-course meal that is well worth making a reservation in advance. I had three different staff supporting the dining experience, which was great because learning about the food was equally as enjoyable as eating it!

Pro tip: Don’t be shy about having the bread cart come over as many times as your stomach can handle!

É by José Andrés

Exclusive and alluring, É By José Andrés is a tiny culinary gem tucked away in a private room adjacent to Jaleo’s. It has sophisticated decor and a delectable menu to match.

The combination of excellent cuisine and lavish ambiance emulate José Andrés’s vision of cooking as a performance.

In addition to elevated cocktails and wine, É offers a pre-course tasting menu of avant-garde Spanish plates that showcase the chef’s culinary skill.

If you want to visit, you’ll need to make reservations well in advance as they only serve nine people at a time and do just two seatings per night.

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés celebrates premium meat-centric cuisine in a seductive setting.

And with two Michelin Stars, four Bib Gourmands, and a James Beard Award, Chef José Andrés knows what exceptional cuisine is all about.

At Bazaar Meat, Chef showcases his love for carnivorous fare through unbelievably tender and juicy dishes.

From fire pit Suckling Pig to caviar service to premium cuts of beef and seafood, every item is perfectly prepared to ensure bold flavors in every bite.

Luckily, this energetic restaurant encourages sharing at the table, too, so you’ll get to try a variety of excellent plates.

Michael Mina

At his self-named restaurant, Michelin-starred Chef Michael Mina showcases a menu of artistic seafood delicacies and fresh raw bar shellfish bursting with flavor.

In fact, the restaurant flies their seafood in daily using a private plane to ensure the absolute freshest product possible.

Michael Mina is also at the top of its game when it comes to phenomenal service. I’ve never been disappointed. In fact, quite the opposite as each time I’ve dined here, the service outdoes itself.

Many of their dishes feature tableside preparation, and the servers help guide you through the menus while exceeding expectations every step of the way.

The most famous dish on the menu is Michael Mina’s Lobster Pot Pie, and once you give it a taste, you’ll understand why it is also the most expensive.

A screenshot of the menu highlights from Nobu Restaurant in the Paris Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

Nobu Paris is the perfect place to enjoy a lavish meal in a no-frills, laid-back setting. I’ve been to this particular location over a dozen times and it never fails to impress!

Famous worldwide for his genre-defying Japanese cuisine, Michelin-starred Chef Nobu Matsuhisa consistently exceeds expectations regarding sushi and fusion fare.

Expect nothing short of a remarkable, memorable experience with every visit. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about fancy attire to enjoy this culinary gem.

The menu at Nobu consists of premium Japanese-inspired cuisine with noticeable Peruvian influences. This means you’ll find sushi, Wagyu beef, and tacos all in one place.

They also offer exotic delicacies, the finest imported seafood, and more made from the freshest, premium ingredients.

Heritage Steakhouse

Romantic and refined, Heritage Steakhouse doesn’t take any shortcuts with its cuisine or ambiance.

They offer a wonderful menu of farm-to-table fare and utilize white oak open-fire grilling techniques to ensure complex, mouth-watering flavors in every bite.

Like a traditional steakhouse, SW features a phenomenal collection of seafood and meat dishes like a Shellfish Tower and a massive 16 oz Prime Rib.

They also prepare rich side dishes, fresh salads, and classic Vegas appetizers, like Shrimp Cocktail. If you want to try the most expensive dish on the menu, get the 48 oz American Wagyu Tomahawk.

Evoking the ambiance of an exclusive speakeasy parlor, Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar is the ideal retreat for an extravagant meal.

With beautiful lamps on the tables, velvet and leather furnishings, and moody lighting, this stunning restaurant is also perfect for special occasions and intimate gatherings.

Bavette’s is known for preparing fine steaks that practically melt in your mouth. Their most popular entree is the Petite Duchess Cut Filet Mignon.

Other house specialties include Charred Brussel Sprouts and Steak Tartare. If you choose to imbibe, the bar offers an extensive list of whiskeys, bourbons, scotches, specialty cocktails, and fine wines.

Mandalay Bay

An impressive menu featuring Japanese cuisine with a distinct Korean-American twist makes KUMI a unique and inspiring dining destination.

Their classic and creative dishes are prepared using sustainably sourced, fresh ingredients, bringing you amazing flavor you won’t soon forget.

The Chef’s Tasting Menu is my top recommendation. It showcases the kitchen’s skill and easily allows you to indulge in the best options on the menu.

KUMI has a gorgeous interior with natural woods and high ceilings that give the place a refined ambiance. They also have a room with a stunning cherry blossom tree that adds an enchanting vibe to the space.

CUT by Wolfgang Puck

While the Venetian and Palazzo Resort is home to a collection of fine dining restaurants, CUT by Wolfgang Puck is the most decadent.

It has a refined yet energetic ambiance, complete with lavish decor and impeccable service, making it the ideal destination for special occasions.

As a contemporary steakhouse, CUT offers a variety of dry and wet-aged beef, fresh fish, shellfish, and more, accompanied by inventive sauces.

My favorite dishes also happen to be the most indulgent on the menu which include Whole Maine Lobster with black truffle emulsion and various cuts of Japanese Wagyu.

Whatever you select, rest assured your meal will be made using only the freshest, premium ingredients worthy of the restaurant’s elevated prices.

SW Steakhouse

Pricey but totally worth it, SW Steakhouse serves a collection of premium steaks and more you’re basically guaranteed to swoon over.

They are highly awarded, have been featured on the Food Network’s “Best Thing I Ever Ate,” and have a sophisticated decor that emulates refinement from top to bottom.

I’ve always booked way in advance so I could get a table overlooking the stunning view of the Lake of Dreams and its nightly shows, which is an added bonus.

With Oysters On The Half Shell, Ossetra Caviar, both Japanese and Domestic Wagyu, and many more decadent menu options, SW Steakhouse makes indulging almost too easy.

If you come with a group, try the Seafood Spectacular, which serves four and comes with a collection of the freshest seafood.

Jean Georges Steakhouse

A screenshot of the ambiance and menu highlights from Jean Georges Steakhouse Restaurant in the Aria Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

Brought to you by world-renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, this self-named steakhouse is decadent in every way.

It has an alluring, dark decor, understated lighting, and a refined atmosphere overall. For the most extravagant experience, make a reservation at the 12-person Chef’s Table.

At Jean Georges Steakhouse, they prepare their steaks on a wood-burning grill with apricot, mesquite, and pear woods, leading to unique, mouth-watering flavors.

In addition, many plates feature tableside carving and eye-catching presentations that mesmerize you before you even get a bite.

They also make phenomenal side dishes, delectable homemade sauces, and more that you’re going to want to try.

Resorts World

A screenshot of the ambiance and menu highlights from Carversteak Restaurant in Resorts World Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

A classic steakhouse reimagined, Carversteak focuses on providing guests exceptional service, cuisine, and cocktails.

They also have a glamorous setting with a plush dining room, a chic bar and lounge area, and a stunning terrace with lounge gardens overlooking the Strip.

It is the perfect place to indulge amidst an extravagant atmosphere.

Executive Chef Daniel Ontiveros’s menu features decadent appetizers, excellent shellfish and raw bar selections, rich entrees, fresh seafood creations, and, of course, a stellar collection of steaks.

My steak of choice happens to also be the most expensive cut of beef but is a must try item. The 5oz Miyazaki Wagyu Striploin. You’ll be hungry, so be sure to add some appetizers and sides to your Wagyu.

The 42 oz Wagyu Cs Tomahawk is a great second choice if you want some more meat for your “buck”.

Scotch 80 Prime

A screenshot of the ambiance and menu highlights from Scotch 80 Prime Restaurant in the Palms Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

Recognized as one of the best steakhouses in the city, Scotch Prime 80’s reputation precedes itself.

A short distance from the Strip, it provides you with an authentic steakhouse experience, a lively vibe, and an intimate design perfect for groups, celebrations, and date nights.

Scotch Prime 80 built its menu with premium components at the forefront.

The chefs source ingredients from the finest American ranchers, certified Japanese Wagyu producers, and sustainable seafood purveyors, ensuring the utmost quality all around.

The Exclusive Boutique Wagyu Collection section of the menu features rare steaks you’ll be dying to try. I recommend the A5 Craft Wagyu Flight, which comes with six cuts that virtually melt in your mouth.
