Deciding where to eat can be challenging, especially when you have many excellent options. To help make things easier, I divided your options into groups based on a restaurant’s most prominent features, ambiance, and offerings. 

Fine Dining and Upscale Casual Restaurants in the Mandalay Bay and Delano

The fine dining and upscale casual restaurants on the Mandalay Bay and Delano campuses showcase some of the best Las Vegas offers. This grouping of restaurants is perfect for special occasions, date nights, or anytime you want to treat yourself to a special night on the town. 

S Bar

Brought to you by the Global Lifestyle & Hospitality Brand, S Bar offers innovative libations and small bites. A lush lounge atmosphere with plush seating, luxe drapery, and iconic art creates a social space with elevated class. 

S Bar’s elegant and sensual vibe is complimented by eclectic live entertainment. You can enjoy modern tunes, instrumental sounds, and DJ sets throughout your visit. 

This space boasts a craft cocktails experience that highlights the culture of mixology. They also have an extensive wine list and a tempting array of shareable eats, flatbreads, and table snacks. Open from 5 PM until 12 or 2 AM, this lounge is the perfect place to start or finish your night.

Aureole

For wine lovers, Aureole is a must-see dining and drinking attraction. While the menu may be smaller than other restaurants, James Beard award-winning Chef Charlie Palmer ensures every bite pairs perfectly with your wine.  

Inside Aureole, you’ll find a wine experience like no other. They have a four-story climate-controlled wine tower that holds thousands of bottles from across the globe. To further amplify showmanship, wine angels glide through the air to retrieve chosen selections. 

An all-inclusive menu with seasonal delicacies completes the sensory extravaganza in this elegant space. If you need help deciding which appetizers, entrees, and accompaniments you want, I recommend the seasonal tasting menu with seven courses.  

KUMI

KUMI brings you modern Japanese food with a Korean American spin. Their unique menu offers creative and classic cuisines perfect for sharing in their upscale atmosphere. They also offer Japanese whiskeys, fine wines, premium sakes, and specialty cocktails that pair excellently with the cuisine.  

The menu at KUMI utilizes sustainably sourced ingredients to bring you the ultimate flavor experience. It features shared plates, raw and seared fresh fish selections, sushi, and bold dishes like Bluefin Tuna Pizza or Kombu Steamed Chilean Sea Bass. The Chef’s Tasting Menu is perfect for groups who want the full tour. 

A stunningly beautiful interior with natural woods, hammered steel accents, and high ceilings greet you as you enter the space. Further back, you’ll find a room with an imposing cherry blossom tree that adds a magical touch to the entire area.

Foundation Room

Located on the uppermost floor of Mandalay Bay, the Foundation room is a restaurant and lounge in one. It provides breathtaking views of the Strip amidst an elevated dining environment. Its luxurious atmosphere is filled with rich materials, accent mood lighting, and plush seating. You also receive complimentary admission to the Lounge after your meal so you can keep the party going. 

The menu at the Foundation Room is curated to interest a global palette. It features seasonal cuisine with rich and eclectic flavors. While the selections change frequently, they are known for dishes like Korean Fried Chicken, Skuna Bay Salmon, Bao Buns, and fresh market fish specialties.

Mouth-watering libations complement their international fine dining and lounge fare. Their extensive specialty cocktail menu includes classic and creative creations like the Ginza Fashioned, the Perfect Gin & Tonic, and more. 

Skyfall Panoramic Bar & Lounge

Situated on the top floor of the Delano, Skyfall Bar & Lounge provides some of the best views of the Las Vegas Strip. They boast a panoramic overlook perspective that offers a welcome escape from the bustling city below.  

Flowing cocktails and a paired-down menu with light bites, shareable plates, a couple of entrees, and sweets complement the breathtaking scenery. I recommend you come in for one of their amazing seasonal cocktails and grab some light fare while you soak in the city lights.   

The lounge is open daily from 5 PM until 12 AM, but the kitchen closes at 10. They also recommend business elegant attire, and reservations are recommended, so plan accordingly. 

Rivea

At Rivea, Internationally celebrated Chef Alain Ducasse serves French and Italian-inspired cuisine. Open from 5:30 PM until 10 PM, the upscale casual environment is inviting, comforting, and full of flavorful aromas. They also have an elevated outdoor dining area. 

The culinary curations at Rivea focus on the best seasonal ingredients found on the West Coast, bringing your fresh, simple plates. The menu features salads, appetizers, pasta, pizzas, steaks, and other tasty entrees. They also offer a tasting menu with a wine pairing option. 

Located inside the Delano, this restaurant’s large windows offer beautiful views of the mountains and the Las Vegas Strip while you dine. Light, airy decor and comfortable seating also draw your attention inside the space and establish a relaxing vibe overall. 

Casual Sit-Down Spots at the Mandalay Bay and Delano

When you don’t feel like worrying about a dress code, there is a wide variety of casual sit-down restaurants for you to choose from at the Mandalay Bay and Delano. The following eateries still provide top-notch service and delicious Chef creations; they just do it in more laid-back surroundings. 

Lupo by Wolfgang Puck

As Chef Wolfgang Puck’s first Italian restaurant, Lupo has a long-lasting reputation and a serious following. It specializes in tableside service, exhibition, and culinary excellence. Private dining is also available. 

This space is designed to highlight the production of culinary creations. It features prominent dessert station displays and Chef performances that give you a newfound appreciation for the food. The menu features antipasti, pizza, scrumptious pasta dishes, and a range of delectable meat entrees, including steak, chicken, and fish. 

Amidst all Lupo’s showmanship, you’ll find a spacious center bar with a glass-enclosed wine room inside. I recommend you enjoy a glass or bottle or opt for one of their cocktails while waiting for a table. They are open for dinner daily until 10 or 10:30 PM. 

StripSteak

At StripSteak, Chef Michael Mina highlights his fire-born flavor approach to bring you tasty creations in a sophisticated atmosphere. Chef Mina has an outstanding reputation backed by a collection of exciting restaurants across the globe, so you’d never guess this is his first steakhouse.

The menu at StripSteak features signature cuts of premium beef prepared on a wood-burning grill, fresh seafood, and classic favorites. If you’re more adventurous, try their signature dishes, Truffle Corn Bread, Caviar Jelly Donuts, and Hamachi Nori Taco

While you eat, you can indulge in one of their imaginative cocktails, beer, or wine. Open from 5 PM to 10 PM daily, this high-class steakhouse will not disappoint.

Fleur

Fleur is a French bistro conveniently positioned near the casino floor. The dress code is resort casual, and they are open from 4 PM until 10 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. 

Premium steaks, seafood, and pasta are the primary attraction at Fleur, but they also feature delicious sides, and classic appetizers. The bar serves specialty cocktails and has an extensive wine list supplied by a stunning glass wine display in the restaurant. 

Red and gold hues, dark woods, and plush seating create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. You can enjoy a quiet meal in their dining room or a cocktail and a quick bite at their chic bar. 

Della’s Kitchen

Della’s Kitchen blends the vibe of a historic farmhouse with an urban kitchen to bring you innovative breakfast and lunch bites. Whether you want something familiar or adventurous, they have it all.

The menu at Della’s Kitchen focuses on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. This is the spot if you’re in the mood for breakfast classics, seasonal specialties, and comfort food like Chicken & Waffles. They also have delicious drinks like Della’s Mimosa Trois, a glass of champagne served with three hand-pressed juices on the side, or you can choose the bottomless option.  

A blend of industrial and natural design elements creates a simple, comfortable vibe to enjoy your meal. This eatery is located off the Delano lobby and is open from 6 AM until 1 or 2 PM, five days a week.

Libertine Social

At Libertine Social, Chef Shawn McClain asks diners to abandon their preconceived notions about restaurants. The concept is a next-generation gastropub designed to stimulate your senses with food and libations. 

Modern Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim’s cocktail program offers surprising drink combinations and signature classics, like the Bee’s Knees and Cable Car. The bar also serves beer and wine by the glass. 

The food menu at Libertine social features small plates, like the Caviar Fried Egg, a collection of flavorful boards, meats from the mesquite fried grill, favorites like Mac & Cheese, and more. The restaurant is open for dinner daily, and they also have a lunchtime to-go counter which is perfect for grabbing food to take to the beach or your room. They serve sandwiches, snacks, salads, and coffee. 

Slice of Vegas

Located in the Shoppes at Mandalay Place, Slice of Vegas is the go-to spot for classic New York-style pizza. They have a friendly vibe and are open for lunch and dinner. 

In addition to thin-crust pizza, this spot offers unique salads, sandwiches, and fresh pasta to satisfy your cravings. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are also readily available. If you’re really hungry, try the 9-pound Double Down Challenge for a chance at winning a prize and your picture on the wall. 

A full bar rounds out the laid-back atmosphere of this eatery. Come and enjoy a drink during one of their happy hours, watch a game, or play some music on the jukebox. They also have a private dining room. 

Noodle Shop

Noodle Shop is a traditional Chinese restaurant featuring authentic Mandarin and Cantonese dishes. It is a great place to enjoy a meal solo or share with friends. 

On the menu, you’ll find favorites like Pad Thai, Singapore Noodles, Orange Chicken, various fried rice dishes, and more to satisfy your entire party. They also have plenty of vegetarian options. 

The ceiling is adorned with dozens of Chinese lanterns, which gives the place an intimate feel and a warm glow. It is open for lunch and dinner until 12 or 2 AM, so feel free to stop by late.

Rí Rá Irish Pub

A true Irish pub experience awaits you at Rí Rá Irish Pub. The space was restored in Ireland and then shipped to Mandalay Bay so that you can enjoy an authentic neighborhood vibe right in Las Vegas. 

Thai restaurant boasts a comprehensive drink list and classic fare that is more than you would expect from your typical pub. The space is open daily from 8 AM until 12 AM, serving breakfast classics, shareable snacks, and Irish favorites like Shepherd’s Pie.

Visiting Irish bands and Irish Sessions deliver live entertainment nightly to enhance the traditional atmosphere further.  

Border Grill

Border Grill is a modern, dynamic Mexican restaurant brought to you by award-winning Chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken. The space was designed with an outdoor bar and two floors of patio dining. 

Organic, fresh, and flavorful, the menu at Border Grill is highly accommodating to different tastes. You can enjoy shared starters, tacos, enchilada plates, and house specialties like Yucatan Pork. They also serve brunch on the weekends, where you’ll find bottomless mimosas and more. 

The vibrant atmosphere of this eatery is also ideal for enjoying margaritas and other delicious craft cocktails. It features lively murals and is perfect for viewing the beach.

Hussong’s Cantina

Originally from Ensenada, Mexico, Hussong’s Cantina brings you authentic Baja cuisine. It is located in the Shops at Mandalay Place and is open for lunch and dinner until late. 

Serving up Mexican classics like chili rellenos, traditional tacos, Elote, and burritos, your tastebuds will thank you for prioritizing this restaurant. They even have a vegan menu. 

Legend has it that this spot is the margarita’s originator, so take advantage of their Original Margarita, which is sure to get the party started. They also have a rock and roll Mariachi band that will make you want to sing along.

Citizens Kitchen & Bar

Citizens Kitchen & Bar has something for everyone at almost any time of the day. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have a late-night counter open until 4 AM on Friday and Saturday. 

The menu features comfort food and dishes that are sure to satisfy any kind of craving. Try one of their breakfast classics like Biscuits and Gravy in the morning. Later in the day, you’ll find appetizers, burgers, soups, salads, and house favorites like Prime Rib

Citizens also has a full bar with signature cocktails, various wines by the glass, and craft beers. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, try one of their delicious, creative milkshakes. 

Seabreeze Café

Beach Bar & Grill

The goal of Beach Bar & Grill is to provide you with sustenance on the sand. Located at the beach, it has everything you need to prolong a sun-filled day by the water. 

The food menu at this spot offers crowd-pleasing starters, salads, sandwiches, sushi rolls, and breakfast fare. They also have an extensive bar menu with frozen drinks and jello shots.

A breezy, informal vibe invites you into this open-air eatery. You can enjoy pool views while dining anytime between 9 AM and 6 PM. 

House of Blues Restaurant & Bar

Hazel Coffee & Cocktails

Open from 6 AM until 2 AM daily, Hazel Coffee & Cocktails is the ideal place to start or finish your day. Whether you want to relax or grab a drink on your way somewhere else, this lounge provides. 

As the name suggests, this spot serves delicious cocktails and premium coffees, but they also have an airy vibe that makes you want to stay for the food. They feature breakfast and lunch fare; just beware, the cafe closes at 1 PM. 

You can enjoy live music nightly at Hazel’s from 7 PM until 12 AM. Its location off the casino floor also makes it convenient to meet with friends. 

Quick Eats – Drinks – Coffee

Looking to snag a quick coffee, snack, or something to go? If so, this selection of restaurants is for you. They have a fast walk-up counter service, making it easy to swing through on the way to your next activity. 

BBQ Mexicana

BBQ Mexicana is a fast-casual eatery serving burritos, bowls, and salads. It is conveniently located across from their sister restaurant, Border Grill, and adjacent to the Convention Center. 3940 Coffee and Tea

Starbucks

With two locations, one in the Shoppes at Mandalay Place and another by StripSteak, Starbucks ensures you can conveniently grab a quick bite or beverage throughout the day. They are open early until 4 or 5 PM and serve high-quality coffees, premium teas, handcrafted drinks, and tasty snacks.

Mandalay Bay Food Court

The Mandalay Bay Food court is fast and convenient. It is the perfect location to grab something quick and easily accommodate varying food tastes in a group. They have plenty of seating if you want to stick around, and they make taking food to go easy as well. 

Bonanno’s New York Pizzeria

Everyone loves pizza, and you’ll find all the classic favorites at Bonanno’s New York Pizzeria. You can pick up a quick thin-crust slice, stromboli, garlic knots, or even a whole pie hassle-free. They serve lunch and dinner daily and open at 8 AM on Saturday and Sunday when you can find a few breakfast options. 

Johnny Rockets

Johnny Rockets brings a retro diner atmosphere to the Mandalay Bay Food Court. Their menu features 100% fresh certified Angus beef, fries, and milkshakes made from real ice cream. They even have plant-based options.   

Nathan’s Famous Hotdogs

Nathan’s Famous Hotdogs is open from 11 AM to 8 PM daily. In addition to their world-famous hotdogs, their menu also features chicken wings, fries, milkshakes, and other sweet treats. This is an excellent spot for people of all ages.  

Subway

Open 24 hours a day, Subway is your ticket to a fast meal any time of day or night. They offer hot and cold sandwiches, salads, breadless bowls, and more. Filling and fast, they make refueling or getting a late-night meal super convenient. 

Pan Asian Express

At Pan Asian Express, you’ll find stir-fried dishes, noodles, dumplings, eggrolls, and other Asian favorites with flavorful sauces. Whether you want some extra protein or prefer a vegetarian option, they can meet your demands. They are open from 11 AM to 8 PM daily.
